For the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the chest just behind the front legs which should be the widest part of your dog's mid-section with a cloth tape measure. Measure your pet's neck at the base (where a collar would sit). You want the cloth tape to be snug but not tight for both the chest and the neck. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, a piece of string, yarn, or thin rope will work and then measure with a rigid ruler afterwards. A good rule of thumb, is measure with enough room for two fingers widths between your pet's chest and harness for maximum comfort. If your pet is in between sizes, SIZE UP.

Americana bandana style harness an leash
